REG-320 Identities, Interests, and Institutions of South Asia
This course will provide students with a practitioner level overview of the history, culture, and politics of the South Asia region. The course will also offer students an understanding of key historical events and how they influence contemporary security arrangements in the region. By the end of this course, students will be able to: Explain the shared history of the region and analyze its implications for security cooperation, Understand the region’s key contemporary political, societal, and economic issues, Analyze the region’s role in an environment of strategic competition.
