Certification Pathway Fact Sheets

Certification Pathway Fact Sheets outline the courses required, or “pathways,” for SC-coded workforce members to achieve certification based on their functional area and proficiency level. Required courses include:
      •    Four Core Education and Training courses
      •    One or more Primary Functional Area Training courses
      •    For practitioner and expert levels, one Secondary Functional Area Training course at the foundational level, recommended by the supervisor
      •    One leadership course or military equivalent
Courses listed in the Certification Pathway Fact Sheets appear in the member’s Transcript in MyDSCU. The Certification Pathway Fact Sheets specify the Continuous Learning Hours (CLHs) requirements to maintain certification and include the Experience/Performance Requirement that must be validated by the workforce member’s supervisor after the member completes all other certification requirements.

Please refer to the "as of" date in the lower right-hand corner of Certification Pathway Fact Sheets.
