REG-225 Regional Security for Practitioners

Regional Security for Practitioners focuses on defense institutions but recognizes that each partner nation is unique, and therefore, approaches the study of defense institutions through different models and across different contexts, including post-communist states, post-colonial states, and authoritarian regimes. At the end of the course, participants will be able to analyze the ideational and structural factors that influence a country’s defense institutions and assess how these factors impact security cooperation.
