SCO-235: Security Cooperation Organization (SCO) Spouse Course
The Security Cooperation Organization (SCO) Spouse Course is a voluntary course for spouses of both military personnel and direct-hire civilian employees assigned to U.S. embassy-based U.S. Military Groups conducting security cooperation. The course provides students with a broad foundation of information, resources, and support networks designed to equip them for the challenges inherent in these distinctive tours. The course promotes and assists in the spouse student’s successful integration into U.S. embassy and partner nation communities. This hybrid course consists of a 3-week virtual portion, followed by an optional 1-week in-person session at DSCU Headquarters in the National Capital Region. Information on invitational orders, attendance criteria, and other course related matter can be obtained by contacting the Registrar.
